Having picked up the pencil at a young age, drawing became Joel's main passion. Many subjects that influence him include Music, Video Games, Fashion, Comics, Toys, and mundane activities. Joel is detail-oriented and precise when it comes to his pieces. He specializes in Manga/Sketch/Comic style (his words).

Joel's original pieces usually reflect on his current state. He views the world in many different ways; which he then depicts in his art. He not only wants people to think when it comes to his art, he also wants them to question everything and view ideas from perspectives besides their own.

Besides physical commissions, he has also created T-shirt designs, digital prints, phone covers, and murals (see Gallery Page for examples).

Currently residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Joel has had his works on display at events such as KULTIVATION Festival and having his own gallery at the MILLENNIUM LIBRARY in downtown Winnipeg.

He also enjoys dark chocolate.
